Splice Journal showcases innovative works involving communication, art and culture, by students at The University of Tampa and guest contributors. The journal is peer reviewed by an editorial team of faculty and students at the university. Submissions are continually added (there are no deadlines).
In a world increasingly saturated by images, students at The University of Tampa become adept observers, scholars, artists and media-makers. Some students choose to focus on interpretation and critique, while others devote more time to producing art and media for artistic or persuasive purposes. Learning both theory and practice, they become critical thinkers and humane communicators capable of using traditional and emerging technologies effectively. Splice Journal is an interdisciplinary publication that showcases innovative student work in 12 ongoing editions:
